Web App for Real-estate Company

We proposed to build an EC site system that is easy for end users to use and will not require much effort to maintenance in the future.

Our client based in Japan required a CRM system and a web application for their business to offer their foreign customers with real estate services. Acknowledging that, VNEXT Global proposed to develop an EC (E-commerce) website with an user-friendly interfaces and practical features. Hence, the customer could utilize and maintain the system without difficulty.

Team size: 5 people

Duration: 6 months

Project type: ODC

Solution

We proposed to build an EC site system that is easy for end users to use and will not require much effort to maintenance in the future.

1. Project Kickoff

Firstly, the Project Manager (PM) discusses with clients to clearly define requirements of the project. Then, the PM allocates resources, schedules timeline and conveys information, such as mutual goals and guidelines, to the development team.

2. Discovery

In the discovery phase, our team:

  • Verify the feasibility of the initial vision by building software prototypes.
  • Test different web technologies and tools.
  • Define the Minimum Valuable Product (MVP).
  • Design the infrastructure and plan the deployments of the product.
  • Uncover the in-depth needs, wants, and pains of your target audience.

3. Design

We start with low-fidelity wireframes or mockups to see if the concepts are reasonable and if the navigation is simple to understand. The wireframing phase also helps to confirm that the efforts of all team members are in line with the mutual objectives.

Collaboration will be made easier by tools that allow for the access and sharing of designs. We, VNEXT Global, prefer Adobe XD and Figma.

4. Implementation

After receiving the design documents, the tasks for different roles are divided equally into small units. Developers take responsibilities for implementing features, both backend and frontend. Meanwhile, UI/UX designers carry out different design stages, such as user research, sketching and building prototypes. Testers, both automation and manual, prepare test cases as well.

5. Quality assurance

All test cases, prepared at the aforementioned step, are run on different frameworks and tools. We carry out all variants of the functional testing such as integration testing, unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, as well as non-functional testing.

6. Web App Launching

After the significant release, the web app development process does not finish. Your team must be prepared to:

  • Detect and fix bugs
  • Make changes based on customer feedback
  • Optimize the performance of your product
  • Renew licenses
  • Add new features according to the product roadmap
